Dirtybird Campout: The Perfect Summer Camp for Adults

Dirtybird Campout is returning for another year of bird—I mean adult—summer camp! This year, the festival will run from October 6th to the 8th. While many features of the festival will remain the same, there are some changes to look forward to as well.

The first big change is that the campout has been moved to the San Antonio Campground in Bradley, CA. Not to worry—there’s still plenty of room for activities. In fact, there’s actually more room. While favorites like archery and the talent show are here to stay, some new activities have been added to the lineup.  “Brainscratch Science LaB” and “3-Day Survival Series” are a couple that caught my eye; I can’t wait to find out what, exactly, those activities entail. You can find the whole roster of camp activities here.

In addition, the lineup has expanded, courtesy of a second stage installment. This means more music at the fest, and I’m sure no one is complaining about that! Some of the names joining Claude VonStroke on the lineup include Justin Martin, Chris Lorenzo, Eats Everything, J.Phlip, Mija Fk a Genre w/ Netsky, and up-and-comers Walker & Royce.

There are a few other things to take note of. First, Early Arrival Passes are now being sold so campers can set up a day early. Second, even though the event is 21+ you’re encouraged to embrace your inner child. Finally, Claude VonStroke recommends packing a time machine so you can do it all over and over again.

Tickets are expected to sell out, so be sure to buy yours before it’s too late and you regret missing out for the rest of your life. Because by the looks of it, the FOMO is guaranteed.
