Highly anticipated Andrew Rayel’s ‘Lifeline’ album shows off his versatility and musicality as he plays with the trance, pop, and electronic music worlds. The 18-track work is a masterpiece of his long-standing career, highlighting who Rayel is as an artist, and has captured the hearts of millions of fans worldwide!
In my interview, the Trance superstar talks about the album, the inspiration behind it, and the creative process.
Lifeline is a continuation of my albums “Find Your Harmony” & “Moments.” As we all go through a journey of life that’s continuously evolving, whether could be in music or personally, sometimes a certain thing or certain record can be an extension to our Lifeline, reminding us how things can always be positive.
Life itself – to be honest. We are all living hectic and stressful lives, and sometimes we may not appreciate a certain something or someone around us. It’s very important to take a step back and remember how good you have life sometimes.
My main goal throughout the album writing process is to create the best experience possible for the audience and making sure there is a journey of emotions and memories for the listeners.
Honestly, it’s always a different process. I don’t think there is an actual process or formula. Each creative development feels different in the moment, it depends on what you hope to achieve and how much emotion is going into the process.
Yes! I’ve been playing the piano since I was a kid. Having an orchestral background has always given me extra emotions and melodies to go into the record. It’s something that I love immensely and is close to my heart.
It depends, sometimes, I work around the vocals, and other times an idea comes to my mind.
One of the most important things in such a process is to experiment and be open-minded to certain new sounds. I don’t believe in limiting an artist to just one sound.
It’s really difficult and unfair to pick one, to be honest, every record is special, every process is unique and fun in its own way, and every person I’ve worked with in the process was special. I’m very thankful for everyone that was involved in this album!
