We all love Borgore. The Tel Aviv bass DJ/producer has made a name for himself and is breaking boundaries from his collaborations with Miley Cyrus, G-Eazy… the list goes on. But, I must say, The Firest has to be my favorite to date.
Borgore is well-known for being “Daddy.” The name comes from some controversial tracks and the simple fact that women absolutely adore him. Last week, Borgore released an EP titled The Firest. The three-track EP contains collaborations with Gucci Mane, THIRTY RACK, and Tima Dee. Even with only three tracks, the EP is a heavy hitter.
“MOP” is the first track on the EP. The collaboration with Gucci Maine and THIRTY RACK was the perfect way to opening. The heavy trap track kicks off the EP and it sets a high bar for the rest of it.
The best part about it is that the music video for “MOP” was released today. Check it out below!
“Are You Sure Now” is personally my favorite on the album. The song’s a perfect mix of melodic sounds with a heavy drop that comes out of nowhere. It’s unexpected and it’s what gives the song its unique kick.
The last song of the EP is “On the Side” which is one of the chiller songs of the album. The addition of Tima Lee’s vocals was the perfect way to end the EP.
I personally enjoyed The Firest. From heavy trap to melodic dubstep, Borgore did NOT disappoint. To learn more about Borgore, click here.
