16 Nov Ultra Music Festival Moving
Ultra Music Festival is the mecca of all festivals. It’s in the same league as EDC LV. Sadly, Ultra won’t be at Bayfront Park this year. So where will the festival be held?
Ultra Music Festival And Where It’s Being Moved To
Today was good news for us all. Miami Commission had a meeting to decide the fate of Ultra Music Festival. Miami Council granted the approval of relocating the festival. In a 4-1 vote, they decided to relocate to Virginia Key, just ten minutes away from Bayfront Park. In March 2019, the new location will be outside the Marine Stadium in Virginia Beach Park. The contract will be in place for 2 years and is estimated to bring in over 2 million dollars with over 600,000 ticket sales.
There were some concerns, however, regarding conflict with Rapture, a tech-house festival in Virginia Key. They wrote a statement about their contract and how successful they were this year. Would moving Ultra Miami to Virginia Key cause issues? Both festivals are very influential and cater to the majority of the rave community. You can watch the full 3-hour stream below.

We are truly excited to know that Ultra Miami has a home for the next two years. Ultra Miami was my first out of state festival, so I couldn’t be happier. Every raver has been looking forward to Ultra Miami finding a new home. The stream below defended all of us ravers. Please check it out below.
