Concert Venue Review: Stereo Live Houston

Stereo Live Houston is a spacious discotheque at 6400 Richmond. Not to mention, they have been booking some of the world’s top DJs for a few years now. Before arriving inside the Stereo Live venue, there is plenty of parking available. If you don’t have the cash to park on their lot, there is free parking available on the street. The line to get your ID checked and ticket scanned moves quickly, so getting inside is easy when you’re prepared. The majority of the people there go for two things: the music/show experience and good times with friends.

With the emergence of EDM, Stereo Live Houston upgraded the sound and light systems to world-class status. Stereo Live’s production equipment is effectively impressive with its superior sound and lighting to accommodate any size event or show. When an artist is on stage in the Main Room, the large video screen behind them flashes logos while animated scenes scroll through from projectors. The CO2 jets, confetti cannons, strobes, and colored lights constantly bathe the gyrating crowd. Everywhere you are inside you can see the light show and feel the music. The venue is air-conditioned and the bar is stocked full of liquor.

The spacious main room has two levels, featuring five large opera-style balconies overlooking the downstairs main floor and stage. The soaring high ceilings of the main floor provide the opportunity to install dramatic production sets for events. If you aren’t into crowds and dancing (which is a great experience), there is always the upstairs balcony section. Some nights it’s open for everyone, but it’s usually reserved to VIP, which isn’t that much more expensive than a General Admission ticket. And of course, they have VIP sections with bottle service. The Loft is located upstairs behind the bar. This newly refurbished area is perfectly suited for an exclusive and intimate event (capacity of 250). This space is completely separated from the main room by double doors, complete with its own private bar, DJ booth with light and sound controls, external entrance, and private restrooms.

Furthermore, there is the terrace outside with a full bar. This large, outdoor, completely covered space is equipped with heaters and fans to keep guests comfortable any time of year. The redesigned terrace captures a unique South Beach vibe with its beautiful new cabanas. It features two bars and a main stage which is perfect for setting up a DJ. While some nights tickets for a show can be expensive, Stereo Live is also known to let their fans purchase Free RSVP Admission tickets to certain shows. You couldn’t have asked for a better setting to hear all your favorite DJs. As a matter of fact, every music fan in town should experience a sold-out show at Stereo Live Houston at least once.
