The Lineup
Shaky Beats Music Festival is coming in strong with their 4th installment! They will be making their return to Central Park in Atlanta, GA. Headlining the dynamic festival this year are the likes of Rüfüs Du Sol, Martin Garrix, Big Gigantic, and a late addition with Galantis!
Last year the lineup was heavier and bass-oriented. This year shapes up to be leaning more on the house and techno side with a hint of dubstep.
This will be my second year in a row in attendance. It is one of my favorite festivals I’ve ever encountered.
With roughly 10,000 people in total, there is plenty of room for you to move around and dance while getting the full feel of a packed crowd. It is strategically located 20 minutes (walking distance) outside of downtown Atlanta near most hotels.
The Four Stages at Shaky Beats
There will be four stages in total, ‘Criminal Records Stage’ being the smallest, ‘Ponce De Leon Stage’ being a slightly larger tent stage, then ‘Piedmont Stage’ and ‘Peachtree Stage’ being the main.
There is a mix of dirt and grass for your flooring and scattered trees throughout the park for a quick break to catch some shade.
Party on All Night Long
Where you might think Shaky Beats is lacking with its time duration is actually its strength in my eyes. The festival will be open from 12:00pm – 10:00pm EST.
Following this, they host six after parties each night! The clubs and venues around metropolitan Atlanta and downtown Atlanta are some of the best venues I have ever come across at Terminal West, Masquerade, and Ravine.
