With the help of Shambhala Green River Collective, the Salmo River has been conserved for future generations through awareness and being proactive in the cleanup during the festival. SMF has partnered with Ankors for harm reduction and drug testing on site for festival goers. They have various reading materials to help goers be proactive and aware of signs of a potential overdose. On-site, a 24/7 sanctuary is available for those needing a safe haven near the medical tents. There is also a safe space that is available for everyone in need of a safe comfy space to chat and rest while promoting mandatory consent and healthy communication.
