Built around a discombobulating Escher-esque rhythm track, “Sometimes I feel So Deserted” has been one of the biggest songs from The Chemical Brothers‘ headline sets at major festivals this summer. The video to their latest track, directed by Ninian Doff in Teruel, Spain, is finally out and… if you couldn’t tell by the screen shot, its kind of creepy.
The video starts off with a shot of what appears to be a girl zombie, walking through the desert, almost like something you’d see on The Walking Dead. She approaches a gas station in the middle of nowhere and plugs the gas nozzle to her throat, filling herself up with gas. From there, things just continue to get more weird. Check it out for yourself below and click here to purchase the track on iTunes.
The Chemical Brothers will be headlining Electric Zoo in New York City on Sept. 4, and Chicago’s North Coast Music Festival on Sept. 6. You can also purchase their first studio album in five years, Born In The Echoes now via Astralwerks/Virgin EMI by clicking here.
