Don Diablo

The founding father of future house, Don Diablo, is a legend. With future house producers like Tchami and Oliver Helders, Don Diablo sits in a category of his own. His new song, “You Can’t Change Me,” is a track you should definitely check out!

More About Don Diablo and “You Can’t Change Me”

Don Diablo has been producing music since the late 90’s. He owns record label Hexagon, which he represents heavily in his brand. The way he produces has brought a mesmerizing element to future house and tells a story every time someone listens to his music. His new song brings the nostalgia and elements with old-school synths and vocals, which is mesmerizing.

All of his music videos are filled with movement, vibrancy, and cameos of dancer friend, Gabby David. She was featured in “Cutting Shapes” and “Save a Little Love.” Unfortunately, she isn’t in “You Can’t Change Me,” but the dancer in this video still blows us away.

The video for the song is artistically moving because of the usage of color and the presence of his logo makes the video unique and focuses your eye on the dancer. And of course, the song is catchy and  something you will definitely be shuffling to this festival season!

The first time I saw him perform was at the legendary Webster Hall in New York City, and his energy and his music are just as vibrant as “You Can’t Change Me.” The experience with Don Diablo is way different than other future house artists. He ranked number 11 on the DJ Top 100 and was named top future house artist by Beatport in 2016.
