Can you tell our readers a little bit about your background and where you grew up?

I grew up in Savannah, Georgia about four hours south of Atlanta.

Did growing up in Savannah have an effect on the path in life you’ve chosen?

Growing up in the south, I grew up listening to Three 6 Mafia, Cash Money and No Limit Records. That’s what really influenced all of my music.

What was the spark that ignited your passion for dance music?

I think it was when I was 13, I got into the band Nine Inch Nails. I could never quite grasp how there was only one guy that did everything. I didn’t really understand the process and being curious about it is what got me into producing in a studio.
