I’ve recently started listening to hardstyle after my boyfriend introduced it to me at Ultra 2017. The genre is one of those genres you quite frankly can’t get enough of, but the one artist who has been etched into my brain and I want to tell EVERYONE about is the one and only, Lauren Valentine. If you love hardstyle like I do, then you will LOVE this mix. With Episode 17, Lauren Valentine blows us away with her feature on HardRoadz.
Hardroadz is a music channel that discovered the HARDEST artists, shows, and releases from the US to South America. Their motto is “United as ONE, United We STAND, United we will RISE” This is such an uplifting message… especially if you love new artists, music, and shows.

From the East Coast, her rendition of hardstyle is heavily based on the darker side of hardstyle with rock influences. She’s taking the east coast by storm, but maybe you have to hear it for yourself. She was also featured on Audio Havok’s 6th Episode back in August, which is another mix that you should check out. This one definitely highlights her ability to integrate Rock with hardstyle.
The first time I saw Lauren Valentine perform was in Brooklyn, NY at The Paper Box. I remember how she went on and immediately started throwing down. To be honest, she blew me away with how hard she was going. You can tell as an artist, she gives all of her music and for my first time experiencing a hardstyle show. It was an experience I still cannot stop talking about.
