Insomniac’s Escape Psycho Circus returns to NOS Events Center located in San Bernardino, California on October 25th and 26th, 2019. Prepare yourself for two murderous nights as you will experience a weekend to die for. With four unique stage designs, world-class artists, and theatrical experience, the thrill of sensory overload is undeniable. This year, Insomniac is bringing the largest megastructure in their history to the new mainstage called The Grimm. Let’s dive deep into each of the stages and what you can expect.
THE GRIMM STAGE
The Grimm stage brings the biggest artists in the world under one tent as they engulf you with their multi-genre sounds. On All Hallows’ Eve, the inhabitants of Voodoo Village gather before the altar for their annual séance and cast an old voodoo spell to conjure the Grimm.
Join the ritual, honor the spirit of the dead, and join your ancestors to be granted safe passage into the afterlife. Listen to Alesso, Deadmau5, Don Diablo, RL Grime, and so much more. Insomniac has your back with this stage unless the vodoo spell ends up getting you.
PSYCHO CIRCUS STAGE
Head over to Psycho Circus being overthrown by Bassrush Massive as they bring Excision, Eric Prydz, Bear Grillz, Borgore, and more. I’m especially excited to witness what should be an epic set of Gorgon City b2b Nora En Pure.
This hallowed ground will thump to the rhythmic sounds of the musical ghosts and goblins that haunt your sphere where slaves of dubstep, bass house, drum & bass, and trap lovers bang their heads. Keep your eyes out to see what twisted tricks the mad magician has up his sleeve.
SANITARIUM STAGE
If you’re looking for more hardstyle that makes your skin crawl, head over to The Sanitarium stage to hear the sounds of Basscon on Day 1. A mad surgeon conducts unsound experiments within the depths of this institution and subjects patients to the blistering tempos of additional genres like hard dance and hardcore. The masters here present DJ Anime, Coone, Headhunterz and more.
Day 2 at The Sanitarium is hosted by Audiotastic. These artists will definitely make your head roll uniting electronic music, hip-hop, and turntablism to challenge your perceptions of reality before sending you back into the real world. Check out What So Not, Boombox Cartel, GG Magree and more.
SEWER DISTRICT STAGE
If you’re wanting to find a party, look no further as the underground is here with Factory 93 at the Sewer District. Find your soul with other maniacs and dangerous outcasts who roam this dystopian territory, barricaded from the rest of society.
Immerse yourself at the intersection of untethered creativity and bold self-expression while never taking your tantalizing finger off the pulse of the underground’s exceptionally curated deep house and techno stage. WILL THE ASYLUM RETURN?
Last year, Insomniac presented a monstrous experience of the tale of Alison being held captive by no other than The Hatter. Headliners got to take a journey into the Asylum as they were told a dark twisted tale while wearing a straightjacket and black hockey mask. They Submerged themselves into a 32,000 square feet immersive theater, movie-quality set design which included 120 interactive performers. With 30 distinct environments, 25 separate sound systems, custom horror soundtrack, and a free Escape hockey mask, how could you ever want to leave this hellish beauty? Let’s hope you get to experience something similar to it this year.

AMENITIES AND SERVICES
With all the scary fun you will be having at Escape, don’t forget to stay hydrated by using their free water refill stations. There will be Ground Control and professional medics roaming the lands that are there to help. There will be a variety of food options for everyone including vegetarian and vegan options.
Alcohol booths will be set up as well, but you’ll have to be 21 and up to purchase. Head over to the merchandise tent and grab your Escape merchandise before it sells out. If your phone is about to die, head over to the charging station and bring your phone back to life. Get lockers with universal chargers and a place to store your merchandise so you don’t lose it like your mind.
