19 Jul Bass Canyon [Event Preview]
On August 20th, bass-obsessed ravers from around the country will once again gather at the Gorge Amphitheater in Washington for Bass Canyon. This festival brings three days of intense electronic music to one of the most iconic venues in the country. The lineup includes crowd favorites like Black Tiger Sex Machine, Ganja White Night, Champagne Drip, and, of course, Excision. This is the first festival back at the Gorge since the pandemic, so it’s sure to be epic. Click here to read more about Excision’s other festival, Lost Lands.
This year, Bass Canyon will run from August 20th-22nd. GA tickets are still on sale, as are camping passes. There are 8 different options for camping, which gives the festival a choose-your-own-adventure kind of vibe. Tickets are available through Front Gate Tickets with an option to pay with a layaway plan that breaks up the payments into installments. Camping passes are sold separately, but you can use a layaway plan to pay for that as well.
If you want to work at Bass Canyon, you can apply online. There are options to help with crowd assistance, greeting, and other festival needs. If you apply to be a “Headbanger Helper,” you still have to purchase a ticket. However, all volunteers will earn back the cost of their tickets.
The lineup is packed with the biggest names in Bass Music, but you can expect to see lesser-known names on the schedule as well. There will be three Excision sets throughout the weekend, with a very exciting Excision B2B Illenium set to close out the weekend. This year, there will be two stages instead of just one. This will break up the crowds and bring even more options to hear new music throughout the weekend.
