Aubergine Machine is back with a stellar music video for their latest single, “Sundown”. The new project by multi-platinum selling producer Ian Carey and starlet Shanti Ellis, is off to a strong start. Launching the project in late 2012, the duo is creating serious noise in the scene. After listening to their music Its clear that Ian and Shanti put a lot of effort into making their songs. “Sundown” is beautifully crafted, and the music video matches the vibe perfectly. I appreciate a pretty wide scope of music, and this is one of those songs that gave me goose bumps. Between Shanti’s luscious vocals, and Ian’s fantastic production, this should be a song that attains a great deal of success.

The music video was produced and directed by Ian and Shanti, themselves, no doubt a testament to their wide range of talents. And is a solute to artist’s out there who wear a multitude of hats. Visually engaging, and sonically captivating, the video is a breath of fresh air because it shows a side of Miami that many fans of EDM don’t experience. Most people only see the bling, and glamor, of Collins Ave in South Beach. “Sundown”, however shines a light on it’s beautiful landscape. A perfect example that there is much more to Miami than the glitter of the nightlife.
If you like quality music that is beautifully crafted, you’ll really like this tune. I am mostly listening to dark techno these days, but I love this tune. That should give you an idea about the song’s quality. Even if you are not into “Pop”, Electronica, I think you’ll at least appreciate their work.
