To celebrate the transition from 2014 to 2015, the Northern California area was blessed with yet another dosage of Skills madness. This annual installment of POP NYE definitely met the high standards we have come to expect from Skills Events. From the top notch 360º rotating stage in the center of the Oracle Arena, to the breathtaking view of the crowd from the stands, POP NYE set the bar high for Northern California!

From the moment of arrival, the energy in the venue was palpable. Once inside it was quite a spectacle. In response to last year’s complaints of “not enough lasers” Skills brought their A-game with and armada of latest and greatest lighting apparatuses including LED walls, cryo cannons, kinetic lasers, and mesmerizing visualizers all built into a very unique stage design. By 10:00 pm every individual attendee was melding into the musical wonderland and welcoming energy that had enveloped the entire Oracle Arena. Six of today’s highly respected names in dance music performed during these 8 hours of New Year’s mania. From the trance-fueled energy of Armin Van Buuren, to the big room electro and Dutch house of Bingo Players, Firebeatz, and W&W, to more unique sounds such as The M Machine and Blake Jarell, there was a wide variety of music to suit each taste.
