Imagine being able to seamlessly buy your ticket and not get exploited with inflated ticket prices while being rewarded for giving feedback about your experience or for referring a friend to a festival. Envision seeing the impact and attendance that one artist brings to the table. Imagine a festival lineup that you had the power to select.
All of this has come into fruition by the CEO of Our Music Festival (OMF), Justin Blau. He is able to achieve this through the power of cryptocurrency. The first-ever launch of OMF will be October 20th at the Civic Center Plaza.
The vision of OMF is to create a decentralized festival network and build OMF into an internationally recognized festival brand and utility token. OMF has partnered with SingularDTV, the first ever blockchain entertainment company. As a result of buying a ticket, everyone will receive an Ethereum Wallet that will hold OMF tokens. Also, they have assured that there will be an educational booth regarding blockchain and its use at the first festival. The festival-goer will be able to use their OMF tokens to purchase tickets, VIP upgrades, merchandise, food, and beverages from concessions.
3LAU has teamed up with Adam Lynn, co-founder and president of Prime Social Group, a leading concert promotion company based out of Columbus, Ohio. His company has hosted over 900 events and organizes 18 festivals per year. He is known for bringing the biggest names in EDM and hip-hop to the stage and has committed to help bring those names to OMF. Also, 3LAU has teamed up with Kevin Edelson who will lead the overall marketing strategy. He has helped execute campaigns for platinum selling artist and clients from all over.
Their mission is to unite, inspire, and give back to music fans around the world. With their first launch just around the corner, it’ll be interesting to see how OMF will able to intertwine crypto technology in the live music ecosystem. Be sure to look out for the festival lineup coming out soon!
