New York Comic Con lasted two weeks and guess who was there? The Weeknd. The Starboy himself made a special appearance in New York for the debut of his new comic series, “StarBoy.” Teasing the release, The Weeknd signed posters at Comic-Con of the Star Boy comic. The collaboration between The Weeknd and Marvel will be released sometime in 2018.

Star Boy Comic and Collaborating with Marvel

The Star Boy Comic book is based on The Weeknd’s album “Star Boy” which was released November last year. The album featured big names such as Lana Del Rey, Future, Kendrick Lamar and Daft Punk (who was actually featured twice). Well-known songs on the album include, “I Feel It Coming,” “StarBoy,” “Party Monster,” “All I Know,” “False Alarm,” and of course “Star Boy.” If you haven’t heard the whole album, check it out here.

We can only imagine the next steps of the StarBoy comic and what Marvel plans to do with the character. However, Marvel also hinted at more collaborative works in the future. Until then, we just have to wait and see what’s in store.
