A Look Inside Three Incredible EDC Stages

This week, Electric Daisy Carnival kicks off what’s in store for the years EDM scene. EDC is one of the world’s largest festivals that originates back to 1997. The carnival is held annually at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway each June. This year, the electrifying experience gives festival goers the thrill of nine different stages with their own unique experiences. Today, we are highlighting three fantastical stages: KineticFIELD, CosmicMEADOW, AND WasteLAND.

The main stage, KineticFIELD, fuses nature and technology to create a contrastingly thrilling showstopping experience.Fueled by fireworks, confetti, and neon lights. The center stage features a volcanic and prismatic lotus.Also, the atmosphere is accented by LED light wheels spinning beautifully. In addition, Several elements are added to add a whimsical touch.  Two large tiki men faces join on each side, watching over the crowd like the gods of EDM.  This stage features the headlining artists of this year such as Afrojack, Andrew Rayel, and Diplo.

CosmicMEADOW allows one to get lost in the music or congregate with friends both new and old, with a lush, nature inspired stage and environment. Both contrastingly thrilling and ethereal, the stage is lined with panoramic screens and incorporates colors in nature, with pyrotechnic flames above each projector. Some DJ’s featured this year on cosmicMEADOW are Alison Wonderland, Slushii, and NGHTMRE.

WasteLAND, The pumping bass central of EDC, brings the harshest beats and relentless crowd energy. The post-apocalyptic scenery that mimics a destroyed city fuels the atmosphere. Also, the pyrotechnics will leave one raging like the music and adrenaline pumping through the crowd’s veins. Some of the DJ’s spinning this stage are Angerfist, Mad Dog, and Code Black.
