Krewella and Yellow Claw Join Forces in New World

By Lexi Williams

Sister/DJ duo, Krewella released New World Pt. 1 in the beginning of the summer. The 6 song EP included Calm Down, TH2C, Fortune, Love Outta Here, Team, Be There and Parachute. Alongside with their New World Tour, the ladies are tearing it up. Representing female DJ’s, Krewella has it all. From vocals to incorporating vast genres in EDM, Krewella and Yellow Claw Join Forces in New World. Each collaboration with Krewella is different. With collaborations alongside PegBoardNerdz, NGHTMRE, Diskord and now Yellow Claw, it’s going to be hype.

When two influential duo’s get together, you know it’s real. Both Krewella and Yellow Claw are heavy hitters in the industry. Their song, New World, has Mid-East influences showing Krewella’s Pakistani heritage, which they represent on New World Pt.1. And what put’s it over the top is hip-hop artist, Taylor Bennett. His verse unifies the song and fits perfectly in the song. With the producing of  Yellow Claw, it’s just a teaser of what their tour is going to be like.In my opinion, New World is the BEST way to listen to Krewella and Yellow Claw. It’s raw, it’s exciting and it shows another side of Krewella you haven’t seen before. Each element meshes perfectly with each other. Both Krewella and Yellow Claw effortlessly integrate dubstep, trap and intense vocals in this track.
