Kill the Noise & Snails Team Up To “Shake the Ground”

Snails has just released his first track on his new label Slugz Music, teaming up with good friend Kill the Noise on “Shake the Ground.”

The Montreal-based artist teamed up with his fellow, heavyweight producers, Kill the Noise and Sullivan King, to make sure his first single with the new label was an absolute banger.

With “Shake the Ground,” Snails lays the foundations for the aesthetic of Slugz Music and subjects his willing listeners to an intense experience filled with growling vocals, electric guitar riffs, and bone-shaking bass.

After spending years crafting music featuring the grimiest sounds and unrelenting bass imaginable in his small apartment, his “vomitstep” sound found a home on labels like OWSLA, Dim Mak, and Monstercat. There’s even a cult following that truly embraces it.

“I want to release music that really inspires me and is just as weird as me,” said the whiplash-inducing DJ.

His singles “The Light” feat. Sarah Hudson, “WFSU” with Waka Flocka Flame, and “Only Want U” with NGHTMRE and Akylla set the stage for his game-changing debut album “The Shell.” The track served as a testimony to exactly who Snails is as an artist. Now with the launch of Slugz Music, Snails has a home for his music and others’ that is as outrageous as they want it to be.
