You know when you hear a song that is epic and you want to tell everyone about it? Yeah, that’s what Felmax & PURGE are about in their new single “Atomic.”

I must say, “Atomic” goes pretty hard. Not going to lie, I’ve been listening to it for the past few hours. What isn’t there to like about “Atomic?” It’s like Mad Max met Tron and created an alternate universe. The track has a little bit of a Rezz feel, which made me love the song.

From the bassline to the chimes, the track is great in so many ways. For example, the build-up before the drop is dynamic and keeps me intrigued for more. Also, it reminds me of something that would be playing in a Post Apocalyptic world.

The futuristic chords and the chords in the song is definitely something for your auditory senses. The drop is one of the best parts of the song. With the second build up, you hear different sounds that give the beat dimension. I love how the song goes from energetic and upbeat to aggressive bass. It has to be my favorite thing about “Atomic.” Stylistic wise, it reminds me of Rezz.

This song I can easily hear at a festival. And when it drops, I will be dancing to it non stop. It’s just gold. Felmax and Purge give their all in “Atomic” and I am looking forward to what else they have in store.
